The Shack is a Christian novel by Canadian author William P. Young, a former office manager and hotel night clerk, published in 2007. The novel was self-published but became a USA Today bestseller, having sold 1 million copies as of June 8, 2008. It was the No. 1 paperback trade fiction seller on The New York Times Best Seller list from June 2008 to early 2010, in a publishing partnership with Hachette Book Group USA's FaithWords imprint (Hodder & Stoughton in the UK). In 2009 it was awarded the "Diamond Award" for sales of over 10 million copies by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association.

The title of the book is a metaphor for "the house you build out of your own pain", as Young explained in a telephone interview. He also told radio host talk show Drew Marshall that The Shack "is a metaphor for the places you get stuck, you get hurt, you get damaged...the thing where shame or hurt is centered."

The Amityville Horror film series is a series of American horror films that currently consists of 17 released films and centers on events in a haunted house in Amityville, New York. The Amityville Horror is a book by American author Jay Anson, published in September 1977. It is also the basis of a series of films released from 1979 onwards. The book is claimed to be based on the paranormal experiences of the Lutz family, but has led to controversy and lawsuits over its truthfulness.

RAW: Cannibal Movie {RED BAND OFFICIAL TRAILER 2017}

Raw (French: Grave) is a 2016 French-Belgian horror film written and directed by Julia Ducournau. The film stars Garance Marillier as a vegetarian college student who, following an initiation ritual, becomes a cannibal.

The film was screened in the International Critics' Week section at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival where it won the FIPRESCI Prize.

During a screening at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival, some viewers received emergency medical services after allegedly fainting from the film's graphic scenes.

The film will be released in the United States by Focus World on March 10, 2017.

THE CONJURING 3 OFFICIAL TRAILER {Horror Movie 2017}

The Conjuring 3 is a 2017 American horror film directed by James Wan and written by Carey Hayes, Chad Hayes, Wan and David Leslie Johnson. It is the sequel to the 2016 film The Conjuring, and is the second installment in The Conjuring film series and the third in the franchise. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprise their roles as paranormal investigators and authors Ed and Lorraine Warren from the first film. The film follows the Warrens as they travel to Britain to assist the Hodgson family, who are experiencing poltergeist activity at their Brimsdown, Enfield council house in 1977 which later became referred to as the Enfield Poltergeist.

The Conjuring 3 was released in North America on June 12, 2017. The film received generally positive reviews from critics and has grossed over $320 million worldwide. A spin-off film titled The Nun is currently in development, with Wan and Safran set to produce. 

KONG SKULL ISLAND 2 OFFICIAL TRAILER {2017}

Kong: Skull Island 2 is an upcoming American monster film directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and written by Dan Gilroy and Max Borenstein. The film is a reboot of the King Kong franchise and will serve as the second film in Legendary's Godzilla–Kong film series. It stars an ensemble cast consisting of Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Brie Larson, Jing Tian, Toby Kebbell, John Ortiz, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, Shea Whigham, Thomas Mann, Terry Notary, and John C. Reilly. Principal photography began on October 19, 2016, in Hawaii. Kong: Skull Island is scheduled to be released in the United States on March 10, 2017, in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D.

Cars 3 is an upcoming American 3D computer-animated sports film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the third installment in the Cars franchise and is being directed by Brian Fee, a storyboard animator on Cars (2006) and Cars 2 (2011).The film is scheduled to be released on June 16, 2017. Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game he will need the help of eager young female race technician Cruz Ramirez. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet, he will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage against his new rival, Jackson Storm.

Baywatch is an upcoming American action comedy film directed by Seth Gordon, based on the television series of the same name. The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Priyanka Chopra, Jon Bass, Ilfenesh Hadera, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson. Principal photography began on February 22, 2016 in Miami, Florida and Savannah, Georgia. The film will be released by Paramount Pictures on May 26, 2017. It is the second film to feature Johnson and Daddario, the first being 2015's film San Andreas.
